Short answer
BillionaireList exports the full billionaires list, or any filtered slice of it, as an Excel XLSX or CSV file. Each of the 3,368 ranked people comes with net worth in US dollars, the date of that estimate, the publisher and a link to the source, plus country, industry, source of wealth, self-made status and age.
Forbes, Bloomberg and Hurun publish their rankings as pages to read. If you need the list in a spreadsheet for a CRM import, a territory plan, a donor pipeline or a chart, copying it by hand takes hours and loses the dates. The export keeps them. Prospecting the very top of the market? The ultra high net worth individuals list shows how many people sit in each net worth tier.
What is in the file
XLSX opens straight in Excel, Numbers or Google Sheets. CSV is UTF-8, so names like Bernard Arnault or Gautam Adani keep their characters in any CRM.
Each row has the as_of date of its estimate and the previous estimate date, so a stale figure never hides inside a fresh-looking file.
Publisher name and the URL of the source sit next to each figure. Compliance and editors can check any number in one click.
Country, industry, minimum net worth from $1B to $100B+, self-made only. You export the list you need, not 3,000 rows to clean up.
change_usd and previous_as_of show who gained or lost and over which window, the column wealth teams use to spot liquidity events.
Data and Enterprise plans cover internal and client reports. Enterprise adds SAML sign-in, an audit log and invoice billing.
How it works
Choose a country, an industry, a minimum net worth or self-made only in the builder above. Leave everything on All for the world list.
The live list opens with the first rows, each with its date and source, so you see exactly what the file will contain.
Sign up with your work email and confirm the code. A new account can run one 25-row sample export to check the format.
Pick XLSX or CSV. On Pro you export up to 2,000 rows a month, on Data 25,000 rows plus the full history of every person.
Columns
The same 14 columns in CSV and XLSX, in this order, so a saved import mapping in Salesforce, HubSpot or Raiser's Edge keeps working month after month.

Compare
There is no single right answer. A one-off school project and a monthly CRM refresh need different sources, so here is how the usual options compare.
| Option | Freshness | Date and source per figure | Filters before export | Cost | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Copying from Forbes or Bloomberg pages | Current | No, one date for the page | No | Your time | A handful of names |
| Kaggle or GitHub datasets | Usually one past year | Rarely | You clean it yourself | No charge | Coursework and practice analysis |
| Enterprise wealth intelligence (Wealth-X, WealthEngine) | Current | Varies | Yes, plus millionaires and contact data | Sales-quoted, annual contracts | Large firms prospecting far below $1B |
| BillionaireList export | Rebuilt daily | Yes, every row | Country, industry, net worth, self-made | From $24 a month billed yearly | Billionaire-tier prospecting, research and reporting |
We cover people above $1B only. If you need individuals worth $30M or contact details, an enterprise wealth platform is the better fit. Read our Wealth-X alternative comparison for the details.
