Name and ranking
Name, current rank and profile URL identify the person behind a record. Use the profile to check identity before matching a name to an existing CRM entry, particularly when a family shares a surname.

Billionaire tier, dated and sourced
Build a UHNWI list of 3,368 living people with a dated public estimate of $1 billion or more, filtered for your territory and industry. Export the net worth, estimate date and source to Excel or CSV for prospect research, account planning or a major gifts pipeline.

Live counts of ranked people by latest public estimate. Tiers overlap, so do not add them together. The US row uses the country associated with each profile.
BillionaireList supplies an ultra high net worth individuals list for the billionaire tier, with 3,368 living people whose latest dated public estimate is at least $1 billion. Filter by country, industry or minimum net worth and export the results to Excel or CSV with the publisher and source URL attached to each figure. UHNW usually starts at $30 million in net assets, so this is the top tier of that market, not a complete list of everyone above $30 million.
A useful UHNW database gives a researcher enough context to check a figure before adding it to a prospect brief. The export has the same 14 columns in XLSX and CSV, with additional profile context available through the profile link.

Net worth is expressed in whole US dollars, alongside the date of that estimate. Treat it as a published estimate of assets and liabilities, not cash available to invest, buy a property or make a gift.
The publisher and original source link travel with the figure. Keep them in the research file so a colleague can read the evidence and assess the estimate without repeating your search.
Country is an export column. City appears on the public profile where recorded, rather than in the 14-column export. These are geographic research facts, not a home address, proof of tax residence or an outreach location.
Industry groups prospects by the activity behind a fortune. Source of wealth adds the business context. Together they help a banker assign sector coverage or a fundraiser prepare relevant questions before a meeting.
Self-made status and age are included where established. Last change in USD and the previous estimate date show the comparison window. A change in estimated wealth does not by itself prove a sale or liquidity event.
Start with a defined territory and a reason for researching it. A high net worth individuals list supports account selection and preparation, while your team establishes suitability, relationships and permission for outreach.
Build a country and industry shortlist for coverage planning. Bring a dated estimate and source of wealth into the prospect brief, then verify investable assets and service needs through your own relationship process.
Single and multi-family office teams can research principals whose business backgrounds match their services. Use the list to frame account research, then establish the office structure, decision makers and existing advisers independently.
Define a territory around relevant industries and wealth thresholds. Research the principal before preparing an introduction, without treating estimated net worth as proof of buying intent, aircraft ownership or a current purchase mandate.
Prepare market research and buyer briefs using country, business background and dated wealth context. Check property interests and representation separately. A city on a public profile is not evidence of a current property search.
Use estimated wealth as capacity context for prospect research. Assess mission fit, public giving and existing relationships separately before assigning a cultivation plan. A large fortune alone does not establish philanthropic interest or an appropriate ask.
Create a sector or country shortlist with citations that survive the spreadsheet handoff. Compare estimate dates before drawing conclusions and distinguish a valuation change from a documented business event in your reporting.

Choose country, industry and minimum net worth in the builder. Add self-made status if it serves your research question. Leaving the filters open returns the world billionaire ranking rather than the broader millionaire population.
Review the matching people and open profiles to check dates, sources and business context. Confirm that the geography and sector match your territory before moving the records into an account plan.
Confirm your account and export from the list page. Test the sample against your spreadsheet or CRM mapping, keep the source columns, and use a paid plan for exports within its monthly allowance.
Watch relevant people for new estimates and changes. Review the evidence behind an alert before acting on it, and refresh your research notes so a prospect brief does not silently retain an older figure.
UHNW usually means $30 million or more in net assets. BillionaireList covers only the top tier, living people with a dated public estimate of $1 billion or more. It is not a census of private wealth and does not include every person between $30 million and $1 billion.
For that broader tier, vendors such as Wealth-X, WealthEngine and iWave model wealth profiles under quote-based contracts. Their methods, available sources and export rights depend on the product and agreement. Ask for a sample, the definition of wealth used and the terms for your intended workflow before comparing costs.
